Chapter 3

                As Mikayla walked out the front door of the home she and Declan lived in, her mind filled with thoughts. She knew the only person who could help her was her best friend, Brianna, who was also mortal. “Hey Brianna, thanks for meeting me here on such short notice,” Mikayla said, “I really need your help!”  Mikayla was thinking about life would be like after Declan made his decision. The first situation was if she was to be turned into an immortal vampire and to stay with her love for all of eternity. The second situation was that she stayed mortal and lived with her vampire until she died. Brianna knew all about what Mikayla was thinking and she knew just what to say to Mikayla about Declan’s decision. Brianna thought that becoming immortal was a great thing and that Mikayla could be happy with Declan for eternity. Brianna thought that staying mortal was also a good decision. Mikayla listened as Brianna told her what she thought about becoming immortal and being with Declan for eternity. Mikayla now knew that whatever decision Declan made, it would make Mikayla the happiest and luckiest girl in the world!

Chapter 2

                “I love you,” Mikayla said to her vampire. That was the first time she had said those words aloud to her love. She had said it once months before and she had truly meant it. Declan, still thinking about their distant futures together did not hear his love say those words. “I love you,” Mikayla said once more to her immortal soul mate. This time, Declan had heard his love say the words and turned toward her. “I love you too,” Declan said, “In a short time we will be together for eternity.”  Mikayla finally knew that she did not have to worry about her life being in grave danger because Mikayla and Declan loved each other and were soul mates for eternity. Declan was now thinking about a life and a family with Mikayla. He had to make a very tough decision in 4 months about whether to transform his girlfriend into an immortal vampire, or to keep her a normal mortal girl for the rest of her life. Mikayla also knew that Declan had to make this decision and she knew that it could change her life forever.

Chapter 1

Chapter 1

                It was a normal day in the small town of Big Piney, Wyoming, while love was brewing in the air. Declan, a very attractive immortal vampire, was cuddling with his girlfriend Mikayla. He was having visions of what life would be like if both he and his girlfriend were immortal together for eternity. You could tell he truly loved Mikayla by the color of his eyes and the expression on face. Mikayla, a mortal 18 year old, knew her life could be in grave danger, but she did not care because she also loved Declan truly and could not stand being apart from her vampire. Mikayla looked at her vampire and smiled with the most delight. She knew that Declan was thinking of their future together because his eyes were pink with a tint of orange and yellow. She knew that she wanted to be with him for eternity and she knew one day, very, very soon, that she will be Declan’s immortal soul mate forever.
